Henry wrote:Paul Keating wrote:The government's strategy of suggesting everything is sexism is stupid.
What is more stupid is the belief of the conservatives that Tony Abbott is being blamed for everything and is being dragged through mud.
Seriously has anyone read the papers in the past two years. It is Gillard who has been hung, quartered and drawn. She has been blamed for everything.
Because she's a crap Prime Minister. It's not as if the media suddenly for no reason decided to criticise her. She gives them more than enough reason to have a go at her. If she performs poorly, then she has to face the music, otherwise, if she can't hack it, then she should get the hell out of politics.
Yep I have no issues with reports of her failings.
But don't tell me you read the papers because if you did then you would agree she is the most vilified politician in recent memory. She gets blamed for anything and everything that has nothing with her.

She's the Prime Minister. The person who is ultimately responsible for the Government. The list of blunders under her leadership is embarrassingly long.

The Muncher is losing her gloss
"FINANCE Minister Penny Wong said she accepted her election to the second position on the Labor party's South Australian senate ticket today, behind factional powerbroker and so-called 'faceless man' Don Farrell.
Speaking after the announcement of the ballot at the South Australian State Convention in Adelaide, Ms Wong said she was "pleased and honoured" to be given the second position on the ticket and rejected the claims that it was "factionalism gone mad".

Damned sexist, lesbianist Pinkos. What a pack of misogynist, clit-smasherist qunts.
Oh, the farkin irony.

Meanwhile, the qunt has a whinge
"THE Labor powerbroker Anthony Albanese has decried factionalism gone mad after the South Australian ALP refused to put the Finance Minister, Penny Wong, at the top of its Senate ticket for the next election.
The SA Labor Party will preselect its Senate candidates next week and the dominant Right faction plans to give the No.1 spot to the parliamentary secretary and Right-faction powerbroker Don Farrell.
Senator Wong, who belongs to the Left faction, is slated for the No.2 spot."
-----------------------------------------
Sucked in, qunt. Even the Pinkos are moving to the Right. Wait for his lefty vagina Plebiscite to come out moaning now.

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (VI)
Back in the early 90s PJK wanted engagement with Asia.
The other side said it will be over their dead bodies that Australia becomes Asianised.
In 1996 the public showed PJK what they think about Australia's place in Asia.
Good to know that both sides of politics today know where we should be.

Penny Wong has been one of the more competent and sensible members of the Gillard Government. The move to make such a well known senator second on the ticket behind a faceless man no one has heard of really shows how deep the heads of Labor's powerbrokers are in the sand.

My recollection was that it was Asia that showed PJK what they thought of his 'engagement' with Asia. They did'nt want a bar of it.

I was tempted to post something similar, BD. The Vulture's speech was just one big air-filled waffle that will be just as useful and productive as Hawkey's "Clever Country" speech. Hot air and nothing more.

Today's newspoll is 50-50
I am surprised. I thought the ALP would have gone backwards. The last week has been particularly bad with the Goose cutting the baby bonus, the police raiding Thompson's house and Maxine trying her best to destroy Gillard.
