Re: Jimmy Savile
UK PR guru guilty of underage sex charges

Save for later
BRITISH PR guru Max Clifford has been found guilty of a string of indecent assaults on teenage girls over a period of nearly 20 years.
The 71-year-old became the first person to be convicted under the high profile Operation Yewtree sex crime investigation at Southwark Crown Court on Monday.
He was found guilty of eight indecent assaults, cleared of two and the jury was unable to reach a verdict on one other.
Clifford repeatedly denied the claims, calling his arrest and prosecution "a nightmare" and protesting his innocence.
He was arrested by detectives from Operation Yewtree in December 2012, and charged in April the following year.
The investigation, Scotland Yard's inquiry into historic allegations of sexual offences, was prompted after claims were made against the late DJ Jimmy Savile.

hmmn....PCS has not posted in over a month. I guess after his doomed attempts to teach Taips English he decided to retire and take up butting his head against a wall

I think Pete has jumped ship.
I think Petey's been collared by Paul Downton to work for him at the ECB, following his correspondence
with said Chairman of selectors after the KP debacle.
Stranger things have happened.

Re: Jimmy Savile
Aye.
The whole thing is farked up. OVer an above the evil of the perpetrators - the fact that so many people swept all these under the carpet is appalling.
The Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the Salvos, the BBC, the Seven Network (Hey Dad), the police force and so on - was there anyone with any integrity running these organisations in the years in question? Or even now?
I'm even surprised that some of the perps didn't get the shit beaten out of them by parents of the victims once it became obvious there was no justice.
I've just read the David Marr article on Pell - the evil performed by so many protected priests makes your skin crawl.
Pricks and cowards the lot of them. Forget how old they are - lock the qunts up and leave them to explain their actions to Bubba and his mates.

Anyone but Rolf. Savile was no great surprise as he was always a sinister weirdo. But Rolf was a far more cuddly weirdo.
