Another storm in another teacup: Denis the Menace, who is also Minister for Racing, copping the rounds after being photographed with some not entirely monochromatic (albeit slightly more so for his presence among them) racing identity types.

Dubber Libs not running candidates in the two Hunter by-elections...just gets worse in spiv central...
Meanwhile I would not be surprised if the coppers are not having a look at the Vic Ombudsman's report into irregular granting of consultancies and employment practices in the former Office of Living Victoria (a glorious misnomer if ever there were one).

meanwhile....isn't it high time someone woke up Premier Naptime from his slumbers...the incumbent tories are more on the nose in the polls than a former West Coast captain...current numbers show 55:45 two party preferred running against the tories...meanwhile youth unemployment in Victoria has exceeded 12%, the highest since the ljh/Kennett peak. Only Tasgolia has worse figures

and of course these kids wil have no income whatsoever - courtesy of the MM....absolute recipe for homelessness, violence and civil unrest...under the Libs job prospects for kids (unless the folks are rich) are limited to riding a cappuccino machine or working as a warder in one of the many expanding prisons around the state

meanwhile the tories and their mates continue to sup from dodgy dealings in the water industry and infrastructure development (building roads no-one wants and prisons)....yippee...good times

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
the Libs could do a lot worse and of course the seat is Hawthorn...I'd be amazed if Mrs K would agree, given Kennett had a lot of probs when Premier...Have not heard anything...The candidates appear to be Roskon from the Institute for far right extra terrestials...Ted is supporting a small L lib like himself (sounds decent enough tho he is a lawyer!)....Jumpin Jack Elliott has been trying to gather support to run - which wd be amazing - shocking businessman with the diplomacy of Clive Palmer....
but personally I'd like Jack in there...he symbolises a valid part of the tories and he is very funny....last year I met him out the back of a French restaurant where we were both smoking....we had a terrific argument that satisfied both of us...he'd be entertaining...doubt tho the libs could bear to have him there.

PMSL @ NSW Pinkos. After just about every Hunter region Lib was tainted in the latest ICAC sting, the latest opinion poll has the Libs 10 points ahead of the Pinks, and Mike Baird has a 43% to 15% rating over Robbo as best to clean up corruption.

I just walked past ICAC on Castlereagh St - lots of TV cameras outside.
Not sure who the latest Tory to admit to taking Tinkler's $$$ is.

the radishes are arguing you cannot expel someone from Parliament based on a media report....natural justice and all that (snort)...due Parliamentary process and all that (snorfle)...radishes are prolly right but personally I would use any pretext available to get rid of the bloke

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
Bi-polar has a lot to answer for.
On Utopia last night they had a character who was all but Nathan Tinkler in (his last) name.
The ABC may be the next casualty of it all if Tinkler ever sees the program.
