Well played Eng and you deserve every bit of success in this test. Swann and Monty by far outbowled 'famed' Indian spinners. Ashwin especially I think is so overrated that its not funny.
327 was very good total in the circumstances and Ashwin and Bhajji in particular proved how inferior they're in front of Eng spinners.

Sweeping on a pitch with a lot of bounce. Good thinking by Zaheer.

Ooh, horrible shot from Zaheer with Gambhir battling away at the other end.

As for Tendulkar, surely this was his last ever innings at his home ground and his last ever test series for us. Sad, but all good things come to an end and even Tendulkar is no exception to that.

Khan with a lollipop straight up and its caught by Prior. Monty has 6for and only one wicket needed.
Aus could take some pointers on how to close a match, even if it is oranges/apples.

I'd lay blame more at Gambhir's door. He just doesn't know how to farm strike with tail.
Selfish really from him.

And this happens again. Gambhir couldn't get a single and Ojha will be on strike for next over.

I shudder to think what would've happened had Eng used their brains and played Monty in the first test as well.
Our batting has become really dire now with lots of deadwood.

Aye, Gambhir deserves criticism for Zaheer's dismissal, and when Ojha goes because of this red inking. Still a desperately poor shot.SG wrote:And this happens again. Gambhir couldn't get a single and Ojha will be on strike for next over.

Zaheer has been dire as a bat for quite some time now and his harakiri should not come as a surpise to anyone.Still a desperately poor shot.

Overrated Umpire. Now watch these two somehow scrape a 40 run partnership together.

Extremely poor umpiring from Dar in this series. Even Ashocker is better than Dar is in this series.

What a moron this man Gambhir is. Should be a goner from Indian team on this basis alone.

And Tony Hill evens up Aleem Dar's mistake, giving Gambhir LBW after he inside edges onto his pad. England need 57. Surely........
