The Elders.
and FYI Skulls: I don't pick nags.
Only champion thoroughbreds, who would also combine well in harness!

Morning Sunshine. And fark you for picking Davo. He was my next man, and the grousest of grouse all-rounders after Sobers. Sterling pick, old bean.

Skulls:
I thought so too. And he was a guy who would battle on through tiredness and niggles to produce matchwinning performances with ball or bat - with a positive, optimistic spirit in spite of a long face and moans! - which is actually what I am also going for with all my picks, apart from pure talent.
(Example: I considered Greg Chappell, but for all his runmaking, a bit of an iceberg teamwise. And of course, there are a lot far worse than him - bellyachers and rattle-throwers!)

Aye Pete, you nabbed a good one there. One of the most underrated players in the history of the game, but his record compares more than favourably with Wasim Akram's.

Re: Pete's Draft Pick Nag thread
Was also looking for a LA seamer as part of my team's attack, to slant across. (Am I putting too much thought into this? )
And I realised almost all of them have been injury-prone. Odd in some ways - you'd imagine left-armers would just be a mirror image of right-armers. But many of them have had awkward delivery strides, not sure why that should be so. None weirder than Wasim Akram's: feet pointing in almost diametrically opposite directions.

Here is your answer, if you'd bothered to read it - it was on the end of your own "calling bg" thread:

Er, are you gonna have your pick?

Why? Baggy's got a match to watch, no doubt a great big bag of green lunch to eat ... .
I'm finally off though .... mad as I may be, I can't hang around any longer.
So no "Calling PCS" threads please - blame the Bagster for my keeping you waiting!
Question: WTF was I?
Answer: I was F getting up.

You picked Eddie f*cking Paynter though, didn't you?
I think I'm getting mind raped. By the lot of you. Every single pick I want goes. This is just like schoolyard footie.
