Elliott looked amazing during the 1997 Ashes. Really looked like being Australia's next great batsman. However, his temperament was exposed as being flawed, and he allowed his negative attitude to affect his team mates. He was the type of player who would be almost invisible in the field if he wasn't making runs. Bit of a sook.
