No idea what Heals was saying though.
Haven't you heard? Healy dared criticise Mathew Wade for his (obviously) sh*t keeping. Now the precious Aussie players are surrounding him like a pack of wolves whenever he says anything.
I hate the 'expectation' from some players that a former international cricketer from their own Country wont criticise one of his own.
I read that article yesterday but the tweet was from a few minutes ago.
Pattinson is a slow reader.

I don't see Healy offering to help Wade with his keeping, as a past "great" should.
* "great" is a subjective term, only used in this instance b/c Healy is up himself.

It's all related. When Healy was losing his load over the Aussie players live on air, none of them berated him on Twitter then. Suddenly he dares to criticise them for once and they're expressing annoyance at his commentary.
I seem to remember a similar thing happening when he criticised Brad Haddin's keeping a couple of years back.
Memo to the Aussie players- Healy is arguably Australia's finest ever wicketkeeper, so STFU and listen to what he has to say.

Why should Healy have to be the one to approach Wade? I very much doubt he's made himself unavailable to keepers who want some help. Instead of being a pampered modern cricketer who expect coaches to come to him left, right, and centre to help him, why doesn't he show some f*cking initiative, give Healy a call, and ask HIM for help?

F*cking hell - it's all a little precious. I mean, he's paid to give his opinion - if someone's shit at something, then he's shit. Today's players are little whingers - like shit Stuart Broad being criticised for being shit and he moans about it - stop being shit then. It's none of Warner/Pattinson's business.

Hughes hasn't kept too badly at all. I wonder if Aus will consider playing him as the keeper in the next match?

I think Kane Richardson might be put out to pasture for a while. Golden duck, no wickets, then banned from the bowling crease for running on the wicket too often.
I think I can hear BD cheering from here.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. He doesn't look ready for this level.

Well played Thiri, decent ton in the end and well played Lankans. Used the early helpful conditions well and severely exposed the folly of the NSP only playing 4 specialist batsmen.

He's got a weird follow through - his right boot lands OUTSIDE the righthander's off stump.

Deja vu: Oz' last home ODI defeat before tonight was to the Lankies...by 8 wickets...at the Adelaide Oval:
Australia v. Sri Lanka, 14th ODI, 2011-12 Commonwealth Bank Series, Adelaide Oval, 6 March 2012

Caught a bit of this in the early hours.... was quite heartened by how utterly inept most of the Aus batting still is against the moving ball.

Our selectors made it easy for Sri Lanka with the lineup they presented. Unfortunately it is'nt going to get better with talk of bringing Hazlewood into the squad. This is a guy whose bowling averaged 41 in his only previous ODI & averages 36 in domestic one day cricket. FFS!!

More likely to give Tim Paine another trial.

the nein commentary would have some credibility if they had criticised haddins drop of a sitter in melbourne...the best keeper in Oz is peter neville and not a bad bat either...kept out of the gloves by Hapless Haddit
