The way Oz runs between the wickets that's a positive

Unbelievable that this side has so many basic deficiencies. Bad times.

I'm with MrK. As bad as India are going, it could be carnage for us in Bannietown. And then we have 10 Tests v the confident England. The next 12 months could be a bit miserable for Aus supporters.

Perera is good at changing the momentum with the ball.....towards the opposition.

Why don't they bowl their leggie? He looks useful to me.
*Cue jokes about that being the reason they don't bowl him*

So predictable - slow partnership off 100 balls. Beetle gets 17 off 43 then falls. Ugh. In the crease comes Lead Feet Larry. It must be something in the Melbourne water - a Podge bacteria.skully wrote:This bullshit of going in with only 4 specialist bats + Weed is so rubbish. After the inevitable early wickets, the remaining bats are sentenced to attempt to slowly build a smallish total. They fark around for 20 overs at 3 an over before falling then the allrounders get cleaned up by the Slinga.

Are Con and Nikki's Aus biggest FTBs? They fail meekly in the past 3 games to moving balls, but in game 1 and 5 on flat decks they dine out. Still, I'll take it for the time being.

And I expect the "last 10 over stumble" to cruel us and leave us with about 210 here.

So 3-172 with 10 to go. We really need 100 more to be competitive but we'll be lucky to get half that.

Fairish ton by Con. Finally hits one in the middle over mid wicket. Need Yoody to tee off.

So 5 innings into his JAMODI career, Phews is yet to score double figures.

Not very convincing from Maxwell there. Could have been out three times and finally holes out for nine.

Slinga's slower ball seems very hard to pick.
