Well he's not as good as Pattinson, Siddle or Starc. Like to see him bowling to Dhoni in India rather than the Pak hacks; it's a bit different to the tracks in SA but he still averages north of forty anyway.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Whoazers. When did Pakistan stop being the yardstick the universe is measured on? And when did India stop being the tardstick?
I signed up to the newsletter, yet I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS.
I had a RIGHT to be INFORMED OF THIS.

You all look the same to him. He gets a bit racial around springtime.
Says the lad with the camels!
But guilty as charged with the SA/AS mix-up.

I was too desperate to propose a Pakistani batsman with spirit as well as skill - got my lines crossed.
Is that you're media statement after you've been arrested for incitement to racial hatred?

Any umpire can make a mistake.
Has he made a series of errors?

It's not a 'quick edit', it's called giving credence to my comment. And I cockslapped you a good 'un.

Only since he started umpiring.

Finally some runs from the Pakistani tail and Sarfraz.
Sarfraz really needed to contribute with the bat in the 2nd test match but it is better late than never.

Match over.
I was hoping for some more fight from Pakistan, but basically they are just as crap as NZ.

Aye, before this series started I had hopes of it being closely fought. But the Paksters have lied down with hardly a whimper.

SA are gradually achieving turn of the millennium Australia levels of dominance, not through being as good as them but through everyone else getting steadily crappier.Henry wrote:taipan wrote:Match over.

A bit harsh on South Africa. This is the best Saffie team I have seen. The underrated aspect of this team is their batting. One certain all time great (Kallis) and two possible all time greats (Amla and AB) in their top six, plus the very good Smith. By far the best all-conditions batting lineup in world cricket at the moment.

Re: South Africa v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Centurion, 22-26 February, 2013
This SA team is pretty damned good. Alls they're missing is anything resembling spin bowling. They're abject at that. AB should be MOS. It's easy to give it to a bowler on juicy pitches. Some of AB's batting trivialised the decent calibre of Pak's bowlers and chuckers.
Re: South Africa v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Centurion, 22-26 February, 2013
Not disputing they're a very good team, just that they perhaps shouldn't be quite so far ahead of most of the others. It is an ordinary era of Test sides. Decent but still beatable England, inexperienced Australia, India struggling to replace the old guard. Pakistan as crazy as ever. Sri Lanka home track bullies with little in the bowling department. West Indies slowly dragging themselves out of the basement (thanks in part to others falling to their level) and NZ as short on quality as they've been for about 20 years. And Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, well, not much to say there really!

Not sure about that. The Aussie and Pom teams of 2008/9 weren't the worst teams around.
