I may be being really thick here, but whats that? They a Band or an event. Music's not my specialty i'm afraid.
Any bars/clubs that we really should take in?

BDO concert is on 25 January in Sydney. Open air concert, Charlie. It sold out quickly (as always) but there would be tickets available on e-bay ...

Nice, RATM, Arcade Fire, LCD soundsystem, Billy Bragg(ish) and Dizzee Rascal. Not a bad mix. Prob too many Aussies there though.
Re: Adelaide, Sydney and Newcastle
Looks like a great lineup. No doubt we could get some from a taut if needed?
Might try and take at least one of those two in!
Danny your probably right, but I expect i'm going to have to deal with that issue most of the 3 and a bit weeks!

Averaged just over 34 in 5 innings.... Nothing to smashing but not to bad festering in the middle order to be honest.
Not that I know of. Would be hard to when they were being chased by black sambuca orr tequila and generally drunk alongside a Bundie or something!!!
The Oxford in North Adelaide trebled their sales for the week we were there!!!

Doesn't sound too bad Chas, unless the pitches were belters. Bet they were a better standard than we get here?
Bar sales usually go up when Poms are abroad. What were the prices like compared to here?

A couple were. Most were pretty much the same generally, if the weather is as wet as it has been in the last few years. Apparently before and definately while we were there it p1ssed down alot, so they weren't belters, but were good enough, quite slow actually!!
Prices were more expensive than here. $6 for a schooner of Carlton was cheap in most places, and even in the RSL's it was $5 a schooner!!

Ah, fair do's. I've heard many an Aussie verbally masturbate about the standard of pitches over there. They speak a bit of truth and bullsht mixed together then.
Jebus, who do they think they are with those prices. A schooner isn't even a pint. Do they want you to stay sober?

To be fair, they would have been belters had the weather not been so shocking. Loads of the Grade stuff kept getting washed out. Spoke to a few of the curators when I had my 7 days of injury, and they were pretty honest about the pitches they were producing and why.....
They do though thats the point, you even look like you've had haklf a schooner and they chuck you out. There were a few bouncers who got quite scared on a few occasions when they tried to discuss how much various members of our team had had to drink. Especially when they tried to chuck out one of the lads that had been drinking Coke all night!!!
