Well well. The MightyZ are only four down after tea on the opening day ... and we're not batting second. Amazing stuff. JNGEFE 53*.

At N'hants, in the middle order, we don't stop the sex. If Sales gets out there's still Wekkers, if he gets out there's Rob Newton. Gotta be good.
Re: English County Season 2013
222/6 against Lancs - good then el collapso from the middle-order. It's 2012 all over again and 2011 and 2010 and 2009...................

Blimey! Chris Jordan takes 6/48 on debut for Sussex - I haven't checked but I wouldn't be surprised if that's a career best.

Re: English County Season 2013
It'd be close for sure. Looks like the move may have done him good - away from the Slurreyites.
Only a uni side but Bell-Drummond gets a ton. I really do like the look of him.
I see Ed Cowan got some good time in English conditions, along with George Bailey. Glad to see it - our counties do like to give tourists a jolly good sighter.

Who the fck is the unlikely-sounding WAYNE WHITE?
And then I read this (from Jan 25): Wayne White has left Leicestershire after deciding he no longer wanted to play for the club. He has joined Lancashire on a three-year deal.
So Lancs is now taking flouncy lowest-of-the-low Leics rejects. Great.
On a lighter note, ot seems Worcs took a visit to the Proctologist.

Re: English County Season 2013
Where the hell have you been? White is quite useful - reasonably nippy, decent lower order batsman. Been about for a few years.
Re: English County Season 2013
Must have slipped under my radar.
We Lancastrians only bother with Div One NORMALLY, donchaneuw.
I was actually commenting more on the idea of dumping Leics as a straight pass to Lancs...

Try living in the present, where Wayne White has some existence in your realm
Re: English County Season 2013
Monitoring the Counties In and Outs is not living though but.
It is VS at best.

A reassuring return to form from Nottinghamshire's batsmen in the final session.

Belfohl-Drummond and Sam Northeast - couple of decent batting prospects at Bunch O' Kents.
I may have just ruined them by posting that.
Still, Chris Jordan is proving that you can come back from such a burden - albeit the recovery period is about five years.

I don't think George Bailey scored 93 runs in the entire Sheffield Shield season just passed.

now now petey...we will soon hit our stride and smite div 1...but I admit to concern for JKL...perhaps Essex need to read St P's note to the Essesians for inspiration
