Fazackhhhherley. Yesterday Lancs were doing a 40-over bash, I thought this was another today. Turns out it's a CC match at Wantage Road. It's all pretty arseways.

Northants seem to fancy Wayne White.
Glad someone does.
And the home side have a White on the field too too. Cam.
So where's White, G, for a White supremacist party? Has he got a knock?

You could've asked it on the trivia thread and become the new Brian Murgatroyd

I booed him on Friday night. A big old boo that could be heard heavily above the mediocre clapping that followed his decent spell of bowling. Oh yeah, there was some consternation, but it needed to happen.
Re: English County Season 2013 (II)
Crook is out too?
I was fearing he might be a match winner (no irony or sarcasm intended - he has been one of N'hants best two or three players this season, and probably would have loved another bash at the county that let him go, with bat and/or ball).

Daggett - another possible revenge merchant. Except his performances have been less impressive to date. And he has only one string to his bow(l), usually.

Your boo knocked him over and dealt him a knock???

Who do I look like - Skullan Dwally?
As far as i'm aware its happened 5 times in Tests:
The Guv'nor
The Huttonizer
The Don
The Fat Potato
(Matt) The FTB
Hutton was the only player to do the feat playing against another batsman in that list - although Bradman didn't bat in that match (injured both innings)

He's been injured, he's probably back to fitness, but they didn't want to risk him.
Northants?

I'm hoping it knocked over his swaggering bollock-grabbing.

I suppose Northants is true too. But it doesn't seem to be working that way. And kamikaze strikes against your present team don't usually go down too well.

Lancashire should play without openers.

We're shit. We're 'letting Luke Procter get to 60-odd' shit. That's some kind of shit.
Re: English County Season 2013 (II)
Well, what do we know about cricket, anyway?
I'd be surprised if anyone said they'd see Joe Sayers thrash it around in a T20. The man epitomised the nurdle.

Procky has found his proper place in the batting, with a bit of bowling. He's one of Lancs' 20-odd non-openers.

Has Trev bigged up Keaton Jennings for England yet?
Or is the past participle "bagged up"? Or "buggered up"?

I'm just surprised and a little sad that once again South Africa have lost one of their brightest young things to England. It's a real problem for them and sooner or later you have to feel it will lead to a drying up of young talent.
Still, if he's good enough, I'd be happy to see him in an England shirt after he's served his qualification period. Seeing as he's Ray Jennings's son, he's probably a bit of a training fanatic.
