Must be a bastard of a pitch ... 11 batsmen have reached 20; none have made 50.
Very spicy.
Especially with Mustard and Onions at the crease now.

Worcestershire must be in dire straits. Michael Johnson, the Reserve Reserve Reserve Wozzie wicketkeeper (behind Whiteman, Triffitt and Ronchi at the start of last season) is not only keeping for them, but opening the batting for them.

And yet Worcs scored comfortably over 300.
So to turn the light on the bowling....

That surprised me too - until I heard that he did a straight swap with the skipper Daryl Mitchell who had gone down with a stomach upset.

Johnson last played SS for the wozzies in Nov 2011...after that Arthur left to coach Oz and Stevens preferred Ronchi back and then recruited Triffit ...Johnsons form had been shite with the bat ...he then decided to pursue a CC career with his Pommy background
Hes a good batsmen if he gets going ...

Well done to Buck Rogers who scored his 19,000th first class run yesterday but only got one test. According to those from the inner sanctum he was too combative in the dressing-room. From memory he got a crook decision during his single test.

Bearing in mind our coach is an ex-keeper, Johnson must have something about him.

Nevertheless, Northants sitting all over the Daffs.
Will they have enough time to force a win?

He'd be batting at 3 for Lancs

Yorks foundering under the Curse of the Ancient Horace - 4 wickets short of an innings thumping, and 120+ still short.

And Nottinghamshire too.
Didn't know BBC's world affairs editor could bat, always thought of him as a bit like Matt Bates.
Where's Gareth Rees btw?

He's off somewhere being utterly shithouse.
Re: English County Season 2013
Riki Wessels comes to the party again, I see.
Middlesex's party.
The Shiteyz' batting looks worse than Lancs', which is saying something.
'Minibus' Adams carrying 10 passengers again.
