The referral was used in English county games last year - Speed said the players lost interest in it after a couple of matches
.

Is this because decisions weren't overturned?

County players lost interested in it because our umps were too weak arsed to change the decision of one of their on-field colleagues.

yeah the 50 over comp.

The umps made it pretty clear that they would only overturn decisions in which the onfield umpire made a clear mistake.

The Tv comms were calling things out and the TV ump was still backing the man in the middle.

Don't suppose it'll be any different in the international arena. Waste of time if you ask me.
