Current International One Day Cricket
Nath wrote:skully wrote:Geez, the Ganjas only needed 11 off the last over (a doddle in recent times) but could only manage 6.
Who bowled the last over?
Starc. 5 dots and a 6 off last ball. However Russell didn't run on 4 of the 5 balls.
19.6
6
Starc to Russell, SIX runs
swung over the leg side, finds the gap at deep midwicket but it's Australia's game. Just too late from Russell tonight.
Starc has done it
19.5
•
Starc to Russell, no run
big full toss, swung high into the air, doesn't get the timing, lands safe but no runs taken
Needs two sixes now
19.4
•
Starc to Russell, no run
full, angled into the pads, Russell misses his swing this time and rebounds off the pads to short third man
19.3
•
Starc to Russell, no run
low full toss at the pads, swung out to deep midwicket and the run is again declined
11 off 4. All on Russell
19.2
•
Starc to Russell, no run
full, angled in at the pads, clubbed straight to deep midwicket and again he turns down the run
11 off 5
19.1
•
Starc to Russell, no run
round the wicket, a yorker outside leg stump, knocks Russell off his feet, goes through midwicket but he doesn't run
Thanks Nath.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Dre Russ fell over hitting the first ball and it probably stopped him taking a run
He then decided he had to muscle the 11 runs needed on his own
Starc gave him nothing he could get under (until the last ball)
Riley Meredith tballed the 19th over right into Allen's hitting zone until he got him to nick a wide on the last ball
...and Mitch Marsh starred with both bat and ball

Wow, good effort from the Paddies to make it respectable. They were in deep poo when I went to bed.

Lamentable performance by Australia again. Too many bits & pieces players who are not up to international level.

Pakistan rack up 230 on an absolute motorway at Trent Bridge, and Red Ken’s impressive century not enough for England to get that close. Where was this team in the JAMODIs?

Livingstone and Moeen appear to be in a shoot out for the last place in the T20 WC squad. Mo needs to do something spectacular in each of the last two games to even get that contest back to level pegging. It does not help that Morgan appears to have lost faith in his bowling.

Livingstone was the poor bugger who got hit twice in the nuts in a BBL match a couple of years ago. When he was hit the second time he yelled out “oh, nooooooo” and he crumpled to the ground.
One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life.

200 looked perhaps barely a par score on that pitch yesterday but England defended it comfortably.
Livingstone’s six into the rugby ground was quite remarkable, not sure if they got a measurement on it!

This is reckless from England, a run a ball needed and they’re trying to slog the crap out of every delivery!

Rain interrupting play in the first Aust v Windies ODI. Aust 4/206 after 42 overs.
Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Another batting collapse by Aust. Lost 5/29 to end up 9/252. Windies collapse also 6/71 after 13 overs.
Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Ky-ron goes for 56 out of a team score of 98.
(Notice the latest cricketing Lewis FFS did nothing to damage the name's bad name.....)
(And on the subject of names, couldn't Mr and Mrs L have at least made sure they spelt their son's properly? Evins above...)

Geez the Ganjas couldn't give a shit in any format but T20.
The woeful Aus ODI side smashed 'em in the first ODI.
Koo got a michelle to dust the WIs for just 123.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Wicket sounds like a minefield. Aust all out 187. WI 3/50 after 10
Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Aus was a chance at 5-129 but the worst player to ever pull on the yellow cap, Reeks, drops a sitter off Zampa. Pooran smacked one straight to him and he spilled it.
Koo just got Holder but the horse has bolted. WI only need 23 runs from 15 overs.
