Aust A v Sth Africa A, 31 Jul - 3 Aug
Aust won the toss & already we are farked. Finch & Doolan both gone for blobs & our hopes rest with Maddison & S Marsh FFS!. To make matters worse, Mitch Marsh is also playing in this game.
Aust 13/2
Aust 13/2

Bog out for 13.
Is there a bigger underperformer in international cricket?

1st XI batting is farked and the 2nd XI top 7 offers no hopes of a turn around any time soon.

Only those who arguably overrated him think he's radically under-performing. I got shouted down at the beginning of the home Indian series a couple of summers ago when I predicted a dismal series before it started.

So disappointing after the fantastic start to his short Test career. Whoda thunk he'd turn out worse than another century-on-debuter, Gary Cosier?

For the same reason Marchant de Lange isn't.

Yeah, him too. So injury reasons or some other? Both could've gotten in ahead of maybe, Tsotsobe and Kleinveldt, though the former's bowling hasn't been bad at all, fielding otoh.

Tsotsobe failed a fitness test before the tour but was forced in by CSA. Kleinveldt is almost 33 but we are rebuilding for the 2015 WC. You figure it out.

Rilee Rossouw has made a ton. From what I've seen of him at junior level (under 19s) on tv etc., have always rated him as a good young batsman. Think he has more flair than your favourite Elgar who looks a bit limited IMHO.
