drastic yes ... but atleast he assuages the hurt Indian psyche.


Ponting has not covered himself in glory .. atleast none from a neutral view would claim that. So probably he is looking at it that way.

Ponting is and always will be a low life yob from the back streets of Launceston who likes drinking, dog racing, and the odd Sheila.

Just happens to be brilliant with a cricket bat in his hand, which is great for the performances of the Australian cricket team, but terrible for the image of Australia as a country.

friends we are all missing the point,India humiliated Team australia by defeating them in 20-20 and their asses are still fired up by that loss and they are finding all means to demean and defeat us by hook or crook.We have been successful in getting into the paints of the australian cricketers and for me that is a great victory.Australian cricketers have finally shown their ugly faces which they have been hiding for such a long time.God give peace to their burning souls

I think part of the problem is that Ponting came on so strong because he was absolutely humiliated by being Harby's bunny.

He just couldn't shake off that tag and that insulted him beyond belief, so the first chance he got against Harby he grabbed it with both hands.

Aus forgot their own rule, apparently rather conveniently. (what stays on field blah..)

Starting with Arjuna, they were into racial abuse big time. Atleast on the ground.

But at that time it came under 'Mental Disintegration' and 'Tough Cricket' , but when the subi took it up it quickly transformed into racism.

And soon protocols were changed, match-referees started getting tough and whole lot of balls.

You know what I heard on the streets...someone was saying Australia is the United States of Cricket world. What he meant was, both just bully around everyone else. And justify whatever crap they indulge in and ride roughshod over them weaker folks etc.

With the feelings for US among the masses as it is, I think basically this is sitting on a time bomb.

Another thing is why hasn't BCCI hauled up the Aus media amongst other things for relating Indian cricket to casteism ??

I mean how low can these people get.

Would they like reading article after article in Indian papers tracing the convict heritage and black crimes of each aussie player ??
