No Ashes highlights on Fox?

What a joke. Nine aren't showing any evening highlights either. They could easily show a one hour highlights package at around 10pm.

I guess this was something that was arranged when the TV rights were re-negotiated. But why? Surely Cricket Australia would want highlights available in prime time for the majority of us who have to work between 11 and 6.

And I've just downloaded the Cricket Australia app with the live streaming option. But the reviews of it are shit and it doesn't seem to be loading. I guess it's brought to us by the same people who bring us the Cricket Australia website in all its glory.

of course Foxy should be able to show highlights each night ....even if nein is 'committed' to running programs on do it yourself plastic surgery...CA in its short sighted manner cares only for immediate profit and not the good of the game or its marketing

I stupidly did the same thing the other day but I think I am still waiting for the email on how to log on.

Actually, no highlights really pisses me off. I've been given a new role at work that requires me to fit 10 hours of work into a 7.5 hour day so i'm going to be too busy to even check the crocInfo scores.

Actually, the Ashes has just been taken off air altogether. It will be played behind closed doors.

Well you can't expect much interest in Aus/NZ matches.

The rubbish commercial stations are covering it though I heard tonight they will only have updates three times per hour. Looks like they will only cover the whole day during high summer and during the Melb. and Syd. tests. Will most likely be on the ABC though, there have been promos to this effect for the past month or so.

So no nightly highlights, and in the balance as to whether it will be covered live on radio in Australia. And this is the premier test series in world cricket. What a disgrace.

It is a secret Aussie plan so that in 5 years they can deny that the series ever took place.

And yet everyone within CA constantly says what a wonderful job Sutherland does and that his job wont be under threat even if Australia lose the Ashes 5-0. The man has been in the job 12 years and is seemingly untouchable. What's going on?

What's going on is that the hick league has taken primacy, that's where the squilla is coming from and hence CA don't GAF.

Doesn't Sky have a deal to show the entire series in Oz?
They certainly have over here.

The Ashes just gone, in England, had a deal with youtube to show highlights, I think.

Maybe there's some such thing afoot.

More & more questions are being asked outside of CA. Sutherland was forced recently to publicly defend his policies.
The problem is who has the power to sack him.

at least the radio standoff has been fixed, apparently. (except the online portion)
