It's a shame that this will be remembered as KP's last contribution to English cricket

Apparently he has opened a hairdressing salon in London. 'You too can look like Kev'.

I am not sure that would get many punters though.
Unless they were ECB officials on their (Sweeney) Todd.

ANDERSON had a poor series in part because he played the last 4 Tests with a broken rib.

Keep injury news quite but wash dirty linen in the media. Got to tip the hat to the ECB.

I read that about Anderson and my first thought was - tosser.
F**k all this BS about being "loyal to the team, loyal to the Chef, Swanny's buggered off and I'm a senior player and all that bollocks . . ."
He was f**ked with a broken ***** rib (sic. embee) - end of.
To carry on bowling for a further 4 tests (110 overs for 9 wickets) in his condition was, in fact, the complete reverse - it was mindless and selfish . . . and deprived another fully fit quick a possible bowl.
Another piece of the jigsaw amid the catalogue of disaster in this last Ashes series.

So what was the excuse for all the others, bar Stokes?

9 wickets at 41 with a broken rib
5 wickets at 48 without a broken rib

So basically they need to make sure he always has a broken rib

Oh. Oh... That makes me feel better about it all then.
I thought he was bowling like a f*cking twat because of his brain.
It's obvious now, that bowling with a broken rib makes a person feed the opposition short, idiotic, unimaginative shite.

Re: Australia v England, 5th Test, Sydney, 3-7 January, 2014
Strangely enough, AFTER the Adelaide test, he bowled quicker than he has for a long time with this apparently broken rib.

They were all traumatised by KP and his big, bad, non-conforming, South African, dressing room harmony-disrupting mouth.
The poor little dears.

With the next series not even 18 months away now, and played back on English turf, I think this recent 'triumph' could yet result in the shortest period ever of one side holding the Ashes.

I wouldn't put any money on England winning a Test at this stage, never mind regaining the Ashes.

Well ... put together a few undetected snicks to slip, a few mints, a bit of dirt in the pocket, a sticky wicket on the last day and a dose of Bodyline at the difficult batsmen (hoping nobody notices the cluster of fielders behind short square leg), and we might just nick one.
Against a weakened Bangladesh.
