Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Ashley Giles serving under Giles (shortly, Lord) Clarke.
Let's see how he works it out.

I have foreseen it. It works out badly, People die. Mostly on the inside.

Having said that, it really was a sh*t decision by Steve Davis upstairs to deny Lumb his catch when Jaya hadn't scored!
Poor.

Don't blame the umpires. It's shit technology that has been PROVEN time and again to be utterly inadequate for its function: to determine whether catches close to the ground have been taken cleanly.
Yet for some unknown reason, the ICC still persists with it, even though it almost always gives an indeterminate result which leads to a not out decision on the basis of there being too much doubt.
Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Yeah, poor decision by Davis. Tucker and Davis, dream combination.
Then again, he shouldn't have been there, was Kushal Perera out?

It really defies belief that England continue to pick Bresbach.

Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Is there any reason why Bopara isn't getting a bowl? And yet again they gave Moeen one over at the start, he only went for four runs, and that was it for him with the ball.
Truly terrible stuff. And what's worse is that I'm revelling in it.

Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Jordan displays a sound and intelligent control of bowling, and shows up what a numskulled and substandard bunch of other seamers the England selectors are themselves stupid and stubbornly self-serving enough to keep selecting.
The spillages and "incidents" are no excuse. Any decent bowler goes on from there, and redoubles his determination - he doesn't degenerate from bad to worse and go to hell as Jaded and Brezlad always tend to do under the pump.

Ah, England are going to go for this total with ducks. It's a bold tactic. Etc.

Giles - eat yer f**king heart out . . .
Let's hope there's a good deal of bondage in the team now!
Engerlund 0 - 2 chasing 190 !!

Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
England still in this at 85/2 (11 overs). They've let the required r/r go to 12 an over. It's a bold tactic.
Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
A 25 run over off Mendis, and England are all over this. 48 required off 30. Should piss it in from here.
Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
