Good to see Tremain getting some FC opportunities. Always thought he had some potential - bowls a very heavy ball, Midge like.

fortunate win for the Vix - helps us in our quest to not win the spoon...all the home teams won
by the way for Big Dog's benefit
D'oh took 0 wickets
Ahmed took 6 wickets

We'll see how many he takes at the Waca when he plays there.

we're on top of the table, so the only place to go is down

You could secede and push for Test status.
Although the Wozzies might beat you to it.

So that's 3 really good home wins, no draws, very enterprising batting by the Vix chasing on day 4 (though Stoinis is of course an expatriate Wozzie).
A word of congratulations to Botha for his captaincy; there's nothing wrong with that.
Ferguson might get a look-in at the Gabba?

Has he ever worn the gloves for NSW? Peter Nevill has been the first choice keeper for about five years now. Brad Haddin will struggle to get a game in the current NSW team. Could be awkward.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2014/15
I met Carters yesterday at a small lunch where he discussed his Batting for Change initiative for this year.

Super impressive guy.
The best thing was, the first thing he said was "From as early as I can remember, my dream was to play Test cricket for Australia.".

Clive Rose has far more potential than Doherty.

Are any test players going to be available for any shield games? They could all do with some real practice.

I count three sheffield shield rounds before the first test. Put up a mickey mouse team for the jamodis and let them know most positions are up for grabs.
rider: I got the schedule from the CA website.

Rogers can't get a hit this round, since it's pink ball day/night matches

He has'nt performed as well as Doherty. He's a good second stringer but thats all.
