Australian Domestic Season 2014/15
Seeing h and t have confirmed for me the completion of the English Domestic Season, I guess it's time to start the thread for the new Aus season.
Season kicks off on Saturday with the *cough* Matador BBQ One Day Cup games - Mighty Spivs v Barrels, & Banjos v Vile Vomits. All over when the Final is played on 26 October.
First Shield games start 31 October - Wozzies v Tozzies, Mighty Spivs v Viles, & Barrels v Banjos.
Massive Wank gets underway on 18 Dec.
Obviously separate threads for touring team series.
Do the honours please Fromberg, and brockles - get stuck into this thread with all your grouse latest news.

Botha should never have been allowed anywhere near the Sheffield Shield competition.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2014/15
they're saying that the Vics are likely to play 1 Shield game at Alice Springs (vs Qld), 1 at Glenelg (vs SA) and 1 at either Townsville or Lavington (vs Tassie), since we have no backup 1st class venue

My backyard's available for a Spiv game Nath. Bit of a greeny as a local stray cat tries to claim it as its territory by pissing on it all the time, with a bit of a Lords slope. Cot might get some assistance.

I think most are being covered except where they clash with other events.

19. Comebacks are catching
There must have been something in the water last winter in Manchester for this summer saw the comebacks of Peter Moores and, more improbably, Andrew Flintoff. Moores will be judged next summer at the end of the Ashes. Don’t bet against Fred making it that far. He is set to play for Brisbane in the Big Bash this winter after almost delivering victory on T20 finals day for Lancashire and claims to be fitter than ever.
Online Telegraph.

Yes & no. They played all their rookies with only Moo, Dools & Silk with any real experience.
