hes always handing out the verbals too. gets into any argument going even when its nothing to do with him. bloody good batsman and hell probably make a good captain but he is a bit of a tosserBasil wrote:Just seen Johnson's throw at Kohli on replay. India's batting from 1-6 is world class. The rest of their cricket is a complete and utter shambles.

Minestrone does realise that to get a realistic target to bat at tomorrow he will have to bowl this crowd out? How he reckons on doing that with a 3-300 field in the first over, has me stuffed.

Well that was quick!! Pottering outside, lost track of time, Midge cleans up the tail and GCS hits some boundaries - Aus lead by 77 by 11.00 am on the 4th morning!!

Literally any other keeper in world cricket would have got a glove on that. Dhoni barely bothered to dive for it.

So Aus 5-216 and make 530, India 3-409, ao 465. Yeah, that sledging of Midge was clever, E-coli.
And the Bannies are into GCS this morning!!!

Being qunts comes much more naturally to the Aussies than the Indians.

These tests have all run to a script really. India threatens and implodes with bat and ball. Doubt India have been realistically in any of the games when you consider their capacity to collapse or let the game drift when they're in the field.

They are yet to realise that Warner is too stupid to sledge.

Kolhi said in his presser that he sledges the Aussies because they can't keep calm.
As for James Brayshaw, has he ever seen a player or event that is not extraordinary or unbelievable?

Hehe, probably, Trev. But sauntering down the pitch with a head wobble and sledging the bowler after hitting a boundary always struck me as a very silly thing to do.

Dhoni is a shithouse keeper - remember him standing five yards back to the spinners at Lords? Shithouse captain while I'm at it.

Has any of their sledging had any effect on Aus other than to fire them up?? Shirley, you'd prefer a calm Aus than a fired up version??!!Red wrote:Kolhi said in his presser that he sledges the Aussies because they can't keep calm.

If I see a player sledging, I see a player not fully concentrating on the job in hand. It might look impressive to your team mates, but in the long run I think it's counter productive - witness Jimmy's performance last English Summer when he stfu.

Geez, just saw the footage of GCS in the nets this morning. That forearm &/or thumb looks sore. Obviously he's had a couple of horse tranquillizers before coming to the crease.

True and if it doesn't come naturally to you, don't try to manufacture it. These artificially contrived stoushes have done nothing but distract India and fire up their opposition.

Yesterday they were talking about India becoming a powerhouse because of their young batsmen. Surely it needs to be said that unless they develop some decent quicks they are going to continue to struggle outside Asia.

Every time India bowl, you get the feeling they're just serving it up, not really trying, and basically waiting around until the opposition declare and they get a chance to bat.

Aye. I have no drama with the Indians either instigating some banter or retaliating, but if it doesn't have the effect they are after, you have to wonder about their IQ. E-coli is an angry ant, but that's OK. He was firey on his first tour of Aus.
