Of concern to England supporters will be the fact that the seamers' pace was well down yesterday. It can't be the workload. Perhaps they thought all they had to do was bowl line and length and the Windies would destroy themselves.

Holder has already exceeded his previous best FC score.

I am beginning to entertain wild fantasies of him scoring a Test-saving century. .....

As if one woofing Aussie b@stard woofing wasn't enough on the forum that we have to now get his exact oppo.
you were rooting for the ****** poms?

Against anyone but Australia?

I would rather set my d*ck on fire and serve it with the main course in a Michelin rated restaurant.

Ian Bishop was saying on commentary that he loses a lot of force and hence pace because his front leg/knee collapses in the delivery stride. So, at least one person around knows what he should be working on. Hopefully he listens.

Bish was saying the same thing when they toured here in December.

Depends really. If you only look at this match then you are right, but if you take in to account the previous 15 years then not really.

How many times are people going to comment on England's bowlers being "down on pace" before they accept that they're a bunch of medium pacers who only occasionally bend their backs?

Stuart Broad barely creeping above 79mph is about par for the course for him these days.

No one in this England team is capable of bowling a really hostile 3-4 over spell that defies a flat pitch and leads to a wicket. Since Flintoff, Harmison, and Jones stopped playing, taking wickets on flat pitches has been a consistent problem for England. Especially now that Swann has also retired.

But we've "discovered" James Tredwell, now. He's the new Swanny.

He'll win matches on his own, with his armoury of tricks: the flighter, the nothinger, Mehmageddon, the steady roller and the "good tourist" (which isn't actually a delivery, but it's bloody important all the same).
