You know, this really focks me off:
Maybe it's just me.
Maybe it's just me.

The most galling thing is that I've got my Cricinfo app switched to Anglo, yet it still thinks I'll give more of a f*ck about some shit-arsed, cock-headed wankstains dry-f*cking over 'snaffling up' a donkey drop to extra cover. They can suck my balls to hard that they sneeze them out. Ultra, ultra qunts.

As previously mentioned, he's dropped over 50 catches. Whilst we don't have the stats for any other player, we can safely assume that he is one of the biggest piles of dogshit to ever have a regular position behind the wicket. If he had any semblance of self-awareness / humility / intellect he would hide himself at mid off.
Yes, quite a measured assessment there.

I see Jordan and Stokes are being treated as second class citizens and doing the shit overs before the new ball... because the show ponies did so well with the first new ball, that they deserve the second one.

Did you honestly expect anything else other than England NOT really trying to take wickets in the first 10 overs of the day and instead putting all their Kinder Eggs in a new ball shaped basket?
Ah, it's raining. So, in a way, it's all worked out lovely. Jimmy and Stuey will be as fresh as a spring morning when they they return just in time for the new cherry.
Textbook captaincy. Feather in the cap, Alastair. You called it right again.

Three more than Sturat, by all accounts.Henry wrote:Apparently in Anderson's first seven over spell, only THREE deliveries would have hit the stumps.
If you can't get bowled or LBW it's reducing your options to take wickets somewhat. More likely to get a hit the ball twice or timed out if that's your strategy!

The thing is that we can't complain about their recent records - but they were instrumental in our downfall to Sri Lanka last year with their piss poor 'dry' bowling, completely disregarding the conditions obvious to everyone else.
Even in that one over just now with the new ball, Anderson got it wrong.
I was almost glad for the Welsh weather just now because I felt I was going to flip my lid at the idiocy.
It was demonstrative when Jordan and Stokes were bowling with the old ball that the fuller length was threatening.
I expect that 'the think tank' have suggested that bowling back of a length, with one eye closed, whilst wearing odd socks, singing True by Spandau Ballet and waving at your wife in the crowd is statistically the best way of taking wickets on this pitch.
They probably got their stats from twitter and instagram

Broad suddenly bowling screamers at 90mph on a good length and picks up Ramdin. Where's this Broad been?

Is Broad an example of the rare balding Samson?

Good to see that the spearheads of English bowling have both got their averages under 30 again.
Bodes well for the rest of the series.

Is that Justin Bieber's new nickname?
He's picked up another wicket anyway. With another full ball. Surprise.

Poor old Marlon had to wait a long time to get to his ton. Looks a decent effort by the Pom bowlers in this interrupted day's play, although the 10 & 11 are providing stiff resistance.

50 partnership. Good batting, dire bowling.
Re: West Indies v England, 2nd Test, Grenada, 21-25 April, 2015
We allowed Shannon Gabriel his highest first class score and doubled his career Test runs total. Which is nice. Think 299 is a decent score to defend.

I'm going to take some of the 'credit' for this, as I've been comparing Shannon Gabriel unfairly with Chris Martin!
299 is a fair score. Hopefully they won't collapse for sweet FA in the second innings.
I only just realised that this was a 3-Test series ...

He looked better than Chrissy. Still he was getting half volleys. I'd have had a loving swipe at them.

Cook on Nelson... his 111th Test. Well, I suppose it can't be much worse for him than the previous 20 or so... he'd have had to get a pair to do it justice!

Geez, the blancmange wickets produced in the Windies these days are dire.
