Australia v West Indies, 3rd Test, Sydney, January 3-7, 2016
Australian changes?
It seems increasingly obvious that O'Keefe will play.
Can either Hazlewood or Pattinson be relied upon to get through another match?
Farewell Test match for Siddle? A rest for Warner to allow S Marsh in?
Burns
Warner
Khwaja
Smith
Voges
Marsh M
Neville
O'Keefe
Pattinson
Siddle
Lyon

I'm not so sure about O'Keefe. Lyon is on top of his game, do we need another spinner?
Re: Australia v West Indies, 3rd Test, Sydney, January 3-7, 2016
I'd rather see Agar, who bats and fields better, but he's not in the squad.

I've said it before but I'll say it again- Are the Aussie cricketers really so f*cking soft that they can't start the test on January 2nd like they do in South Africa?

The new year test in Sydney has started on January 3rd for the last five years. It's because the players complained there wasn't a long enough turn-around between the boxing day test and this test.

Poor decision either way; especially when it means you lose a Saturday or a Sunday.

They really still going to bother playing this game?
WI should just get back on the plane home. Or maybe Aus should sub in the women's team to play instead of their men - might be a decent contest.

Look, you never know.
They beat England earlier this year, so anything is possible.

Low blow.
That was England a la Moores.
Now if you're planning on re-hiring Mickey Arthur as coach, getting the team to do their homework, dropping your spinner so that Smith is your only option, recalling Watto to open, bringing in a corpse at 3, a gutless ginger rodent at 4 and a bowler who stutters his way to the crease and then hopes the ball might land on the strip then maybe it's possible.

Thought Haze bowled at pedestrian pace. For all his public spiv talk about leading the attack, his effort was as poor as the Ashes Tour.

Aye. The commentators picked that he was falling over in his action. Hopefully McSofty is working on that.

It's been a while since Sydney was a spinners paradise. I'm not sure why they're going to play two, especially as the weather forecast is looking shite.
