Come on, the Windies. Or the Aussies.
Or the weather.
Yay.

Few spits out to the west of the city at the mo, but should be OK for a start. Wouldn't rule out an evening downpour but. Very muggy at the moment.
Sh!t, that sounded like I cared.

A late flurry of 40 of 21 leaves the Windies at 7/138.

Warner has very good chance to smash Yuvraj's WR of fastest T20 50 off 12 balls.

Absolute massacre.
It's also the worst bowling performance by an international team I have seen for some time. You can't go into any international match with one pacer (a young one at that) and a bunch of part timers.

Wow, that David Warner...
Judging on T20 alone he's going to be huuuge. Get him in the test side.
Please

Today has seen several complete mishits go for six or be caught just inside the boundary on an absolutely huge ground.
Are the bats they use these days filled with titanium?

Lol Miller is bowling disgracefully. Slow full tosses on leg stump are not the deliveries to bowl at this level.
Back to the Caribbean with their tails between their legs. Some of these guys will more than likely not be seen at international level for some time.

Shocking performance from the West Indies.
The incompetence of the Windies is matched only by their touring partners this summer. Their bowling is bad beyond belief.
Good riddance and let's hope you don't return for a long, long time.
And Gayle is a prized idiot.

In all fairness this is a 2nd string Windies side forced upon us all by an unprecedented injury crisis by international standards.
However I wouldn't disagree that Gayle has been thoroughly idiotic over the last few weeks and the matches were so ridiculously one sided as to make most of them unenjoyable even for the Aussie public.

Nope. Barath, Darren Bravo and Shiv are all back in the squad for Sunday. Good riddance to Simmons, Morton etc!

As the boys on Nein were saying, it's quite unbelievable that the Windies have a 334 hour flight in front of them and have to front up for game on Sunday. Crazy stuff.

Believe me,during this series I have regained my admiration for Shiv and Sarwan and people who can actually bat for more than 10 overs .
Not to take anything away from the Aussies who have been absolutely awesome over the last 3 weeks.

Typical WICB move unfortunately. The only saving grace is that half the team will be fresh having just recovered from injury. The likes of Gayle, Ramdin and Roach will be absolutely knackered though.
