Re: SA cricket in crisis Part 2
Whilst I was watching the test in Johannesburg the other night, I noticed one of the South African management was in the dressing room, tapping away on his iPhone. The players were literally sitting either side of him.
Now, who's to say he wasn't using a live betting App, and that some sort of signal was being subtly sent out to the middle to tell the batsman to either get out, or try and hit a boundary, or go for a dodgy run etc....
Obviously the players aren't allowed to use their phones in the dressing rooms (although I assume all the coaching staff's laptops have wifi access) but there are apparently no restrictions on team management having phones in the change rooms.
Why? Are the ICC really so naive as to think team management could never be involved in spot fixing?

One would hope that no one has been charged without evidence. However there was no mention of evidence in that link.

Why would anyone ever bet against him under-performing?
Surely there can't be that much money in betting on a certainty.

He was considered a "better batsman than Jacques Kallis" at school level, then struggled to average 25 in first class cricket. Perhaps he's the biggest and most consistent under-performer of all time?
Or he could just be shit.

I wouldn't be surprised if another player starting in T is also involved.

Could be its leaking out quicker than a leaky boat. But the CSA has chosen to do it this way,it would be better if the names we're named now,and we can get over it.
Not good that families we're threatened, what kind of mess has Bodi got himself and the cricketers in.These bookies generally have a mafia behind it.

Re: SA cricket in crisis Part 2
Interesting?
It seems to begin with a rather rosy insular tone ...
"In rugby, South Afica were usually No2 to New Zealand. Cricket, however, has been South Africa's top sport for some time now, its team No.1 in the world for years on end"
... and it only gets worse from there.
Inaccurate and insular, I'd call it.

Was more referring to the ills bedeviling SA cricket, so by nature it would be insular. Also inaccurate on Kyle Coetzer by the way.

I can understand them bringing Amir back, but bringing those other two back would be a step too far.

Rumours of a strike by white players in domestic cricket are being hosed down.
Which probably means the players have at least talked about the possibility of one.

It was the white blokes who let SA down, aside from the last test from Cook and QdTaips.
Let the whities strike. What a joke. Few are any good. AB is a weirdo christian lacking the fibre for captaincy. Fark him off to IPL where he can share jokes with the turd in a turban
