Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XII)
One would think it is in Pinko interests to support getting stuff good for the country through (e.g. cost saving measures to reduce deficit, public agreement on same sex marriage etc) so when they inherit government at the next election, a lot of the hard shit will be done. I don't think Bill is being very smart here.
We have become just like the Yanks. Obstruction for obstruction's sake.

skully wrote:When is someone gonna tell Shortarse that his qunt of a party was not elected to govern the country??!! So he's happy to have same sex marriage but doesn't want the people to have a say, FFS?? And his justification is "the wasteful cost" and yet he is blocking all the cost saving measures proposed by the Govt. What a communist qunt he is.
What.a.prick.
Agree shortpants is filth. So Senor S, should there have been a plebiscite on the invasion of Iraq and the absurd support for the Alfie Arab Springtime. Time to string up ljb.

Meh. My view will never change. When the massive military might of the USA (that we will call on if Indonesia or China wants to invade) asks for our help in a military campaign OS, my answer is "yes" every time.

So Hanson hasn't held back in her second maiden speech - reiterating that we are at risk of falling under Sharia law; telling Muslims to go back to where we came from and saying we are going to be swamped by both Asians and Muslims (although she didn't specify in which order) and calling for an immediate halt to all immigration.
The Greens walked out a few minutes into the speech.

I wonder if he'll frame the envelope that he scratched out the "deeply" researched NBN plan on? Good riddance to a toxic grub.
