Quick cricket trivia
Some random trivia relating to some interesting questions have recently heard.
How quickly can these be answered without research?
Who is the only batsman to have scored a six on every day of a test match?
Who is the only test player to have played against four different countries in his first four matches?

How many days of play to qualify for the first question?
Otherwise, every player who's hit a six on the only day a washed-out Test was played ...

I believe there was play on every day, though there was rain about. Yes, just checked, there were rain shortened days, but appears to be play every day.

Re: Quick cricket trivia
I think the answer to Q1 must be Kim Hughes. There are very few batsmen who've even batted on 5 days of a Test match; and at least two of them (Boycott and Jaisimha) rarely hit sixes, let alone multiple sixes.
I remember watching the 1980 'Centenary' game and Hughes batted absolutely superbly; rain interruptions ruined what otherwise might have been a great match. Border and Hughes were just carving up the bowlers towards the end of each of Australia's innings.

Lardbarket is correct with his response to the question about the sixes - Kim Hughes is indeed the correct answer.
Wide Wally has hedged his bets a bit, but Tony Dodemaide is the answer to the second question. Wally's brain might have hurt some more to come up with those.
Well done guys!

Re: Quick cricket trivia
Red, the second question was -
Who is the only test player to have played against four different countries in his first four matches?
Why are the following not correct?
Greg Campbell's career
Harbhajan Singh's career
Rashid Latif's career
There are probably dozens more.

Definitely Hughes. It was pretty much the first cricket match I remember watching in depth. I was 8 and remember his cover drive on one knee like it was yesterday.

I am only going on Tony Dodemaide saying he was the only one to do it, but clearly he was wrong! My apologies.
Kim Hughes was adamant regarding his record though.

Dodemaide's first four Tests were also four consecutive Tests played by Australia - which is definitely not the case with 'Uncle Greg' frinst...
