Bugger - both overnight batsmen out without scoring in the first two overs of the day. There's the game, there.

An early dropped catch not helping matters

Advantage to the Stannies. Expect a top knock from Miserable.

I'm a bit surprised Ahmed Shehzad didn't reach three figures after all the luck that was going his way. Given out twice only to be reprieved because of no-balls.
23.5
Gabriel to Ahmed Shehzad, 1 no ball, pins him in front of middle! This is a searing delivery - at 93 mph - and it zips in at the batsman, goes through Shehzad's lazy drive on the up and hits him on the back leg. This is plumb, but Shehzad goes for a review, and would you believe it, Gabriel has no-balled! Tactical DRS, eh? Well done, Pakistan
36.1
Chase to Ahmed Shehzad, 1 no ball, what was Shehzad trying to do? He'll do well to answer that to his coaches in the dressing room. Or wait. He can actually do that later, because Chase has overstepped. He sees Shehzad stepping out and fires the full ball down leg cleverly, Shehzad can't reach and the keeper takes a couple of seconds to gather his composure and then break the bails. Shehzad was so far down that it could have qualified as a run-out. What a time to bowl your first no-ball in Test cricket. Shehzad can walk blindfolded on a freeway and not get runover

Gabriel's no-ball problem is bordering on chronic. I watched a chunk of the day's replay on Foxy, and he bowled a lot of no-balls that weren't called, along with the ones that cost him wickets.

WI still in it if they can knock over these last two quickly. They need to have a good second innings ... Brathwaite is overdue, so fingers crossed.
Edit ... 9th wicket partnership (nod earlier dropped catches, no-balls) taking this away.

Lead restricted to 81; excellent spells by Gabriel and Holder.
Now WI batsmen must stand up.

1 down already. I expect the Wackies might only need 100 or so to take a 2-0 lead.

99 in consecutive matches for Misbah - surely a first.

Remember when we all thought Shai Hope was completely incompetent?

Bugger, WI lost 5-29 at the end of what had until then been a good fighting day.
Nice work by Hope, who scored his first ODI century not long ago, so he's possibly starting to grow into the role of international player.

I would think so, given he is now the only man to have 3 99s in Test cricket. I can't imagine the many who have 2 Test 99s making them in consecutive Tests.

Aye, at 4-235 and with a lead of 154, the Ganjas would've had hopes of a 250+ lead to bowl at. Yasir Shah's 6-fer makes it advantage Pakistan.

Another 20 runs from the last wicket partnership would be very handy ... then, hopefully, Holder and Gabriel can bowl the Windies to victory on a deteriorating pitch. No no-balls!!

Would think Bishoo is more likely, given Shah's success.

Already considered and rejected that possibility as very unlikely.
Yasir Shah was bowling to West Indians, who have always struggled against spin.
Bishoo, a good spinner but no Yasir Shah, will be bowling to competent players of spin.
Uneven bounce and fast straight bowling is the Windians best hope.
