Seriies all square with 20 minutes left. Any odds on the draw?

Cheap penalties continue to be a blight on the sport.

Don't agree...if it works for both sides.

I'm not saying either side is getting a benefit over the other. It's just an aspect of the sport that infuriates me.

Neither side will settle for that, will be wide open last few minutes if nobody edges ahead before.taipan wrote:Seriies all square with 20 minutes left. Any odds on the draw?

Maybe you are right. AB penalty dead in front.

Huh? I thought that there was no sport of any form played in 1981?

Should have a drop-kick shoot-out if it's a draw!

And a bowl out in a tied cricket test?

Football's World Cup final has been decided on penalties a couple of times...

I thought Williams was played in the air from the kick off.

I thought the officials were still consulting about something when everyone thought the game was over...
A monumental effort from the Lions, while neither side will be totally satisfied they've still achieved something nobody really thought possible.

Dramatic conclusion. Poite's brain chemistry haywire in the last minutes, but hard to blame him too much.
For the Lions, the chance missed during the 10 minutes of the yellow card. "Good game management" by the ABs, some would say.
Errors all over the place, but sterling performances for all that, and massive-intensity stuff, so....
Okay 15-15. and series also drawn.
Let's have a decider. *runs...*

It shows there is still a place in rugby for the "old fashioned tour".
I would love to see the Boks tour NZ or vice versa. The Lions should also go back to the 3 year cycle.

3 years would sometimes run into World Cups, so they would still have to miss one in every four occurrences.
SA next time around, will the Boks have a side capable of competing with the Lions by then?

Times they are achanging. Looks like SA will have two teams in an expanded Pro12 competiton next season. Personally I hope that super rugby will soon be scrapped as it has become a crap tournament.

Oh dear. Needed that smashing. A send off and another controversial decision plays a part.
We are so screwed. They're going to live on a diet of raw meat and rusty nails.
