Mean while Radishes defeat the Tofus in Batman, while after a long term in govt the SA radishes copped a peeling from the Browns.

Aye, but good to see Xenophobe get his arse handed to him on a plate.

Meanwhile, just what Aus politics needs in Batman - another bleeding heart ex-union leader. Rolling Eyes

Shortarse will see this as an endorsement of his new tax policy.

When the ALP and GetagoatUpya have to use over emotive descriptions and lies to justify the policy it smells

Get Up!'s facebook post

"This loophole gives rich people $11.4 billion cashback on tax they didn't even pay.
Closing it isn’t 'class warfare' – it’s justice."

It's not a loophole ...it's the principle of imputation carried out to all end receiver paying pay on company earnings at their marginal tax rate rather than the company tax rate

It's not only rich people who are affected ...so the whole 11.4 billion doesnt go to rich people

the tax has been paid by companies who the taxpayer has invested in ....and that tax forms part of the taxable income of the taxpayer

When economics editors of mainstream news outlets don’t get it, you can’t expect the average punter to see beyond the headlines.

The Liberals need to attack it as a way to get more more money into industry funds (noting that the ONLY super body to endorse it is Industry Super Australia) and give more Mo eye to the unions and ALP. I would even go the “corruption” line. They might even point out that industry funds and unions do t even pay tax yet have the hide to point out that this is a tort for low tax paying retirees.

Lol farquin lol... And no Skully, I am not in a,defined benefits scheme. I smoke cigs and will peg out early. Whatever I leave goes to Get Up and my mate who advises on closing tax loopholes (no doubt undeductable!). Inherited sprogs will be fine.

Lots a talk that One Nation might vote for tax cuts in return for a cut to immigration.

Very little difference between the brown and black shirts. Peter Spudhead would make a better leader of No Notion than Hanson.

Every Spudhead benefits from pairing with a turkey. Enter the MM who is dead keen on giving white yarpies an armchair ride.

Fixed. The joint will truly become East Praetoria. Some Yarp called Nigel will become Premier. Pity anyone without a red neck.

The ABC has a satirical footy show called "The Couldabeen Champions".

One segment has fake callers coming on with their footy . The fake Perth caller affects a strong Yarpie accent. I expect the show will have a take on Spudhead and MM.

I am really looking forward to the next Erics Anazi interview. Already he is one step away from overtly running a blood purity line. This could tip him over the edge. Sadly most Strinos would agree with him and Minister Spudhead.

I can't say it concerns me in the slightest, h.

A few whitey SAffer farmers is hardly going to overwhelm Perth's infrastructure. shrug

You seem unusually bent out of shape over something so minor. Clearly it's a "principle" thing with your good self. columbo

Really? I admire your optimism Lardy. I wish I could share it about our fellow residents of this joint. Maybe I should stop reading the Oz

The Oz is good for the weekend magazine, cricket and football reports, puzzles, and arts reviews. Front page is good for fish and chips.

Hmmm. I often do the Sudoku's

On a different topic it seems in one year the the snuffling piggy MM used more travel entitlements than all other living PMs combined. Story is in the Guardian following an FOI request. What a useless hubris addled jerk.

C'mon Skullywag and Big Dog, where are your defences of your hero MM.

Personally I think he was the worst PM since Pig Iron Bob. The damage he caused in his 15 minutes of fame as PM endures.

Was he entitled to use the travel entitlements?

Were there any helicopter flights to Geelong?

What is the problem?
