Oh I get it, h.
I know full well no party is for ALL Australians. It's just that Shortarse continually claims he IS.

"There are plenty of people with disability living in Dickson,"
"A lot of people have raised this with me. I think they are quite angry that Ms France is using her disability as an excuse for not moving into our electorate."
Peter Dutton on his ALP rival in Dickson who uses a wheelchair and is struggling to find an appropriate house in the electorate. She lives 2km out of it at the moment.

Just when they thought they were having a good week. Shorten should just keep doing the folksy home invasions and leave detailed policy stuff out of it. It's just not needed when you're upagainst stupidity on this scale. FFS! I'd never heard of her until he opened his mouth.

ScuMo will be furious with Peter Spudhead. I expect his message will be 'stfu Spuddy'.

The Radishes will be hoping Spudhead plays the same role the MM did in the last election. Without the MM stinking it up, Truffles would have romped it in.

Meanwhile two Brownie candidates in Victoria have been found to have nor met the citizenship requirements and have been withdrawn. You would think every party would thoroughly check people's eligibility before they pre-select them.
No doubt the Radishes will similarly screw up and you'd just expect "No Notion" will stuff up.

Farking stupid handheld.
Part two .........unless it was foisted upon you. Though our citizenship laws have always been a lawyer's picnic.

The Radish running in Bishop's old seat has withdrawn. Apparently* she likened Israels treatment of Palestinians to Apartheid. Not unreasonable given Netanyahu's comments during the election campaign.
Reportedly Price did not want her views to be a distraction during the election campaign. She has worked as a human rights lawyer and is an ex Federal Polly.

Bit late for that. She might be technically right in some aspects on paper at least. I'm generally pro Israel but not a lot of their policies but Netanyahu may well be the most dangerous man in the world.

She was only running as a stunt anyway
Withdrawing just means her comments get more attention

Bring on Easter. There's apparently some sort et of gentleman's agreement about campaigning too hard.
More importantly the Victorian laws we have in this country means I can't celebrate baby Jesus death day at the pub.

ScuMo will be at some Hillsong tabernacle talking in tongues. Mad Monk will be in some cathedral fiddling with Easter Eggs and praying really really really hard that Chooky Steggall falls over. EricsANazi will be organising deals with No Notion and other righties - this will be done on the quiet.
Billy ShortPants will get lost in the garden looking for Easter Eggs. Search parties led by unhelpful Brownies will find him by ANZAC Day. This is unfortunate for the Radishes as their lead in the polls had increased in his absence. Unhappily for the Brownies, ShortPants mistakenly sings the Star Spangled Banner at a Dawn service and is disappeared by unknown forces. No-one notices except a grateful electorate.
A confused and clearly dazed Billy ShortPants materialises at a May Day March. This is where he gets to show his credentials or so he thinks. The International collective of the 237th true Trotskyist . International emerge from their international conference, held in a surprisingly capacious Telephone Box.
All three bail up Billy who had been sidling to the head of the march to take his rightful place. All three (well two actually as the third is just a mum looking after her son who is going through a stage) call Billy some frightful names such as "Class traitor", "Capitalist Roader" and "Murdoch lickspittle". He's then rescued by unknown forces in a rather large vehicle.

Might have been better to unload in the last week but I spose you can throw in the CIA for maximum effect then. Let's keep the red flag flying here.

The person who designed that survey could not get an internship with ABS. He or she should stick to doing lovelorn quizzes for New Idea or some teen magazine.

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XV)
"Billy's little Party loves shorten, shorten
Billy's little Party loves shorten bread."
For a stupid old bloke, the internet is just a wunnerful thingo. For days I have been playing with the old "mumma's little baby' tune and lyrics in my head. Have been wanting to play with the tune and add dismal discordant and disgusting lyrics that truly befit Billy Short Pants.
Was going to complete the task but the combo of meds, a few beers and a couple of large whiskies have induced a cgaf attitude.
Struggling away and I hunt up the Internet and find a Wiki entry. Little of it is of interest beyond it seems Brian Wilson, that full frontal crazed musical geniac, was completely obsessed with the tune and the lyrics.
It seems the Radishes look set to win this election. The prospect of Short Pants running the joint holds me in as much thrall as the 'happy clapper'. In fact I probably think Short Pants will do more damage to workers and the dispossessed than the Happy Clapper and his band of brownie wing nuts.
This is not because he will fark the economy or drive down living standards (in the way Skully or Big Dog may think).
It is because he is a pure expression of social democrat labour rat. He will happily send them off to a meaningless war, he will cut the humanist corner at the gentlest pressure, he will kowtow to religious loons at the drop of a mitre.
Australia has produced a despicable brand of class traitor labour leader for over a century. The pantheon is led by Billy Hughes, Mark Latham and Jo Lyons, abject bottom of the sewer pit each of them. Krudd was a monomaniacal religious wing nut. Of them all only Curtin (who was more old Socialist Party than ALP anyway) is worth a candle.
