Oddly enough no.
I do read a bit about him and his family. The NYTimes recently ran a large piece on them.

Why half price for under 35s? And why not go tomorrow for the 'think and clink'?

Reviews sound great. But still what's with the wired pricing? Fark it I'll Google it.

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XV)
I note that class act Get Up had its activists out in force in Warringah putting up head shots of Tony Abbott with the word QUNT splashed across his forehead. They even bizarrely put one up in Redfern.
While some here will no doubt find that hilarious, the fact that the loonies chose a Child Care Centre among the places where they stuck these things up shows what a classless lot this mob is.
And it will play in Abbott's favour. Zali Steggall was out today imploring all who would listen to believe that it wasn't her people who did it.

I don't find it funny. Stating the obvious isn't really clever.
Stegall could have done better in that debate today considering Abbott's normally not great at them.

So I see Keating slammed the spooks over China. Short Pants was the first to jump down his throat. No surprise there.

I see some smelly unwashed green slag tried to egg ScoMo. Stoopid bint used a hard boiled egg, which did no damage.

It's not just me saying it, I assure you, Q. Haven't you noticed numerous regular posters have disappeared?
And on the egg front, apparently* the egg wasn't hard boiled, the stinky greeny just missed from point blank range. Must've been the weed in her pocket.
Egg boy was funny, but she is just an appalling snot rag of a human being. I hope she gets jail for assault and carrying drugs.

Hmmn. Has any plonked money on Steggall to beat Abbott? Not a bad bet I hear.

Well I've got to go to the second round of an auction tomorrow and decide if I'm going to defend ALP 80. So wether or not chooks wins is unimportant, apart from the pleasure in watching Abbott's concession.

Chickens being counted?
If Warringah is like the rest of the nation, a third of the votes will be pre-poll and will have to be counted to confirm the result.

Should mention the parting of the Hawkey here too. Shame he didn’t last a couple more days to see his pinkos win office again.

I said it elsewhere but Bob was the only Pinko I always respected. In my idiot youf, I voted him in several times. I thought Kunting was the real deal too. If Hawke hadn't have got in the road of his Treasurer's plans we might now have a simpler and fairer tax system.
Pity Kunting became such a bitter old queen later in his career and certainly later in life. Miserable old tit.

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XV)
Not convinced about the 'sympathy vote' factor - the first thought I had linking Bob with today's woodentops was along the lines of 'none of these clowns are in the same league', and if that is a common reaction then apathy will work in favor of things staying the same.
