This why gcspoc should have been rubbed out when he had to be restrained in the players tunnel
According the Clarke, Warner always knew where the line was.

Clarke is incorrect. The evidence over a long period is gcspoc would not have a clue where the line is.taipan wrote:horace wrote:beamer wrote:Sledging is one thing, but if you take it to extremes you should expect retaliation, whether that is in kind with personal abuse, or with intimidatory bowling, beamers and a bit of pushing and shoving, or perhaps the ultimate destination, a punch-up on an international cricket field.

Seems to me he has a problem with impulse control. Whether it is congenital or acquired he presents and behaves as a person with frontal lobe damage.

Furri, Trike, are you around? Any thoughts on how it might go?

So after this round of Shield matches, do we think and Wank is better than Head?

The singular point of interest from India's point of view, Prithvi Shaw, has rolled his ankle and out of the series on crutches. Sad.

Sounds like Head has been given Koala status by Langer so its a moot point.

True - Crash Craddock was on the Back Page this week saying how much Langer loved Head.

The Cricket Australia XI only 2 runs behind India's first innings at stumps. Decent partnership between Hardie & Nielsen. (Not Nelson. Otherwise they might have kissed).

I note the Tassie bloke Summers, who apparently bowls F-A-S-T, copped a pasting.

Similar to Tait. Very fast but no control or variation.

judging from the article I read, he has the same level of brains of Tait, hopefully with less peaheartedness.

Still, remarkable as his stats are (just two pick sixes in over a decade, etc...) and the fact he can make throws no other QB can, he just doesn’t quite have that relentless winning mentality of Brady, who wouldn’t allow a slide to 4-6-1 even if he had a team of high school players in front of him.
Apparently* the Packers have spent less in the free agency market than any other team over the last few years.
I reckon McCarthy is gone.
Nailed it. McCarthy sacked today.

Because we are more likely to defeat an all star NFL team than the First Test.

I can't remember being this unenthusiastic about the upcoming Aus summer of cricket - ever.
Perhaps this TAYPOC Test side will surprise me (ala Midge's Ashes 13-14), but I seriously doubt it.

Oh I don't know. Test cricket is test cricket and the drama that led to the makeup of the team and how the selectors have done give me a certain anticipation.

What are the chances of that pair making the next tour of India and playing together at the venue that's made up of their names?
