Current International One Day Cricket
Individual threads for one day tournaments between countries are lucky to garner half a dozen posts, so I'll start this one that can be used to comment on anything noteworthy in current ODIs.
Overnight Babar Azam made 115 v SL then Usman Shinwari grabbed a michelle to easily dispatch the little Lankans.

Aust T20 squad. No Short, Lynn or Wade. Instead we get the usual suspects & numpties in Finch, Maxwell & Warner who i presume have been picked on reputation rather than form & Smith who has'nt played T20 in three & half years & who is crap at short form cricket anyway & Stanlake who is worth 40 runs to the opposition. At least Stoinis has been dropped.
Australia squad: Aaron Finch (c), Ashton Agar, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, Ben McDermott, Kane Richardson, Steve Smith, Billy Stanlake, Mitchell Starc, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, David Warner, Adam Zampa

are Short, Lynn and Wade any better? We suck at T20I so it's just shuffling the deckchairs on the Titanic, regardless of who we pick.

It's T20. The toss and the game are equally Tittslotto.

Either the Wackies have become as bad as Aus at T20, or JtB is having a field day.
Another loss to the little Lankans overnight.

So:
For Aus, 3 ODIs v SL, then another 3 v Pakistan, all in the next 2 weeks.

"Quality" indeed. Slower ball and cow corner skills will be enhanced just that little bit.

Hopefully apart from Warner and Smith the other batsmen will be the usual park cricketers and they'll let genuine test chances play the Shield.

Surely it’s a four-year project to get the World Cup back, and sod the Tests?Bradman wrote:Hopefully apart from Warner and Smith the other batsmen will be the usual park cricketers and they'll let genuine test chances play the Shield.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
So no ref ball cricket in Oz for five weeks after the last test and no international cricket ( not that I particularly give a rat's) in January and February.
What was a weak piece of crap in the form of CA is turning into a collective of cowardice and......... can't think of another C word to extend the alliteration, but at any rate this bunch of qunts go down quicker than our test team, quicker than quicksilver, quicker than a ten dollar hooker, quicker than Warner faced with quality bowling, quicker than...........something really quick.

... a cavalcade of calumny, a clusterphuck of calamity, a caca-loaded cloaca of craven corpulent cum-swigging cullions and capons?

Well, that's our lot - permanently in conflict with the charmless, chattering and cheating chippy chiefs from Chittagong to Chenai.

Over rated as a tourist destination too IMHO.
The qunts from cricket control collude, can't cop criticism, and camp out in courts when they're not incarcerated. (Really too early to go head to head with you alliteration wise).
