Spot on re Jim Maxwell who is totally banking and Cowan. Sprigg was ok. I listened to abc but there is now something like a 20 second delay between the vision and commentary.
presumably because they're calling it off the tv?

Possible I guess. It is easy enough to synchronise radio and vision. Fox, kayo, 7 and nein would go ballistic.

Would have been an ideal time to blood green rather than bring back a failed Player
Re: Current International One Day Cricket
It seems the Chappells are both pushing for youth but Langer et al are all for maintaining the tried and perhaps the not so true.

And Despicable Dave cops a nasty bout of Footballer's Knee....possibly solving the 'will or won't Will' conundrum in a way Alanis M would definitely approve...

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
This really is a pedestrian game atm. The Indian batsmen cannot hit it off the square. Is this the most boring start to an international season ever? The Indian bowlers are beyond terrible.

Rahul finally hits a sixer to bring some animation to the docile batting. Are there any fireworks to come? BTW if Starc is shyte, where does that leave the Indian trundlers?

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Speaking of pedestrian, I just clocked the theme for the FOX coverage of the test series - the song sounds dangerously like the excremental Achy Breaky Heart, and the blurb features the commentators up-front, with Smith, Kohli & co very much in the background. Distinct Brad smell about the whole effort.
Expect the worst....and be grateful if it's only that bad.

Plenty of clean striking for the punters.
In the end it was a good win for Aus in the match and the series.
Hopefully Smith continues his immense form.

He didn't make a ton in the home summer last year but has started with a rush, admittedly against a very poor attack.
So India nearly make 340 but lose by over fifty runs. They are certainly off the pace atm.
