Kiwi Zinzan Brooke in state the obvious shocker....

' I honestly think New Zealand can win the Rugby World Cup '

For me the winner will come from NZ,AUS & SAF

IRE & FRA being tipped as outsiders

I don't think even me having money on them can stop them this time.

Saffies are the only rivals if they are allowed cheap shots in the final.

Hasn't started yet Doremi.

Probably QF's. - SF's at best

Wouldn't totally rule them out of knocking over a big team on the way.

If England beat the saffies in the group states it's a clear run to the final. If not, we'll be out in the second round.

If we beat SAF we'd play Wales in the QF, not a total gimmie but in all probability we'd make the SF

We're not better than any of the 3 southern hemisphere teams and FRA & IRE are also better teams.

Who would we be likely to play in the SF given that scenario?

Quite excited... I'm not the biggest fan of egg-chasing but still, it's a WC and should be a good one.

Phurt. More than likely you'll be playing us Poms in the QF.
You're a guaranteed Semi-finalist.

Cheers JGK, so England beat SAF first up and they wouldn't have to play a big 3 team till the final.

Not that they'd get past the frogsters playing on home soil

No home side has ever won the RWC and I don't think the Frogs have a great record at Stade de France.

So the match against the SAffies is a big one.

Of course, you may want to think twice about making the final as there is a chance the All Blacks could score 50+ in the final.

But there would also be the chance they could choke again.

Surely worth the risk of taking a muntering from them.

Pish tosh. Knuckles' boys are far too thick and naive (is that a tautology?) to get past the quarters. Don't get me wrong, this ain't a reverse-woof. Man-for-man, I can't see the Wallabies having any chance against the Blecks, England or France. On our day we might knock over the Hairy-backs, but, all things being equal, the Kiwis should win this "Bill" in a canter.

Argentina upset the hosts 17-12

Not that big an upset though, given that Argentina recently won at Twickers too...

Ah, forgot the Saffies. DIdn't count 1987 because it was in Oz and NZ.

Anyway, the Saffie v England match now has a massive prize - an easy as stroll to the final.

Pft. England are actually ranked lower than the Argies.

Saffie in the final already.

Infact its a NZ v SAF final already, can't we just fast forward and go home already?

Waheyyyyyy. Only just saw the result. LOL at the French. I'm sure that will put a smile on the face of many an Englishman. Suck on some stale snails LP, ya very pleasant frenchman Wink

And now, having done that, watch the Japs trouble the Wannabees.
