OK..i confess, i actually went to see Kong. WTF..with my seniors discount it only cost $8. Fairly inane & predictable storyline but some great CGI action. Not a bad popcorn movie so long as you leave your critique at the door.

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 yesterday. A bit disappointing given how entertaining the first one was.

Watched it this morning. Totally enjoyed it. Finale was a bit overdone but there was plenty of action & laughs along the way.

Hard to compare the two as #1 was new & characters were original to the screen therefore the original will always compare better of the two. I thought baby Groot stole the show in this one.
