Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Aus scrape home v ordinary Windies in a warm-up T20 series to the WC.
Once again the 100 year old Weed got us home.
Unsurprisingly Puddle, NoShow and some nobody called Tim David all failed.
We are so screwed in the Gilly.

Can you not call heads or tails correctly any more? That’s all it took last year…skully wrote:Aus scrape home v ordinary Windies in a warm-up T20 series to the WC.

Indeed - what a yawn fest. Smith could have played a couple of Shield matches by now if they had told him to get ready for the red ball summer.

Dunno if this is the best thread for this but...
Glenn Maxwell has fractured his leg at a birthday party. He was not intoxicated. Just clumsy.

Our squad’s not exactly looking to the future either, only four players under 30 in it. A few players left out with a view to the upcoming Tests with Pakistan.

England currently 4-73 after 14 overs in Adelaide.
A very poor crowd in so far. Maybe they'll roll in after work.

Zampa gets the dangerous looking Buttler. England now 5-118.
I'm heading out to game 2 at the SCG on Saturday. I'll get a MrK perspective, as I'll be in the Members as a guest of a corporate ticket holder.

AC keeps delivering in the white-ball formats… was certainly a late-career find by our selectors. Showed a bit of promise in Tests as well but just couldn’t convert starts enough to nail down a place.

Looks like a road that we failed to take full advantage of then. Davey Dick, Katie and Les all going at 8 an over, they think they’re still playing T20…

Been out at the flicks with friends.
Pleasant to see we are chasing well (not usually our strong suit). 147 in under 20 overs by GCS and Blowie was a decent start.

Comfortable win in the end sealed with a 4 and a 6 by Smudge.
This almost guarantees an Aus loss in Game 2 with me in the stands.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
It was a good net session - a competent win against a mixture of the hung-over and the left-over from the WC. Smith looked as good as he had for years

Impressive by malan, if only he could have done that in the last ashes.
another poor crowd by oz-eng standards. I spose everyone will be
watching the footy soon.
