Spare a thought for the Aussies...

Must be very difficult doing your best dressed like a banana grove quarantined for a dread disease. I'm not usually for capital punishment, but the designer of this uniform deserves to be executed.

Right now I'm sparing a lot of thoughts for the Aussies. Most of them start off something like this - HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I'm told it's bad enough having athlete's foot between your toes - especially your big toes - but the poor Aussies look as if they've got spots of the mould on body parts where it would make it into medical journals.

Amazingly, it is even more ugly than the current Wallabies strip.

Yellow is a pretty unfortunate colour for sportswear, anyway. Would Australian cricket have attracted as many youngsters to the game had a part of the outfit been known as the Baggy Yellow instead of Baggy Green?

To be fair though ... yellow gillets covering grey skin-hugging cotton tops ... not exactly haute couture.

You would have thought that if they wanted it to be called gold, they'd have a sort of gold colour. Rather than yellow.

Banana's are yellow; as is the Aus T20 uniform

Gold is named after the metal gold and it is light-reflective; the Aus T20 kit is not light-reflective.

England are going through to the next round of the T20 tomorrow; Australia are going home tomorrow.

Bah, I'm in the mood for some ridiculous-unfounded-overconfidence. The typical English defeatism will kick in tomorrow if we do lose by over 50 runs.

So, as KP tried to say in his press conference - if we'd have won they'd have gone home humiliated.

But, since they don't care, we decided to lose instead, so now they'll have to endure the far greater humiliation of wearing yellow and grey for another week.

Win-win all round.

They don't deserve my thoughts.
