FFS!!!!! Schofield has NO shots. Why not Broad? It's only 2 overs. Schofield got a Test 50? Big f'kin whoop.
Wasted balls there....

132-8 now. At least 20 runs short, and the prospect remains that Australia could slap it around and knock us out.

Absolute belter.
Re: Aus v Eng, T20 WC, Cape Town, 14th September
Mascarenhas now out, run out backing up. That's so unlucky.

That's just damningly unlucky. Mascarenhas out too.

That deflection probably cost us our place in the next round. They can chase this in 12 overs no problem if they get off to a flier.

135 all out. Should be a cruise for Australia that.

Well that last delivery sums it up. Very poor effort.
If it hadn't been for Freddie we'd be on the plane home already, now it's up to him to take this Australian reply past 12 overs.

Jeez, I haven't got sky but I'm sure Gilly's eyes are alight at the prospect of knocking off these runs inside 12 overs.

I can't see Australia deliberately going for it inside 12. if they got off to a flyer, then maybe, but it's more important to them to just make sure they win.

Re: Aus v Eng, T20 WC, Cape Town, 14th September
As I suffer from "PC in different room to TV" syndrome, I have no idea what's been said in the past 10 pages of this thread. But my observations are as follows:
Johno - pleasantly surprised
Bung - passable
Sarfraz - good except for the no balls
Ferny - excellent death bowling
The rest - WGAF
To contain England to mid 130s is a fine effort. The Aus bowlers have done their job. Now can the batsman do the right thing?
And Chappelli is such a d!ck. Aussie arrogance is one thing, but being a deadset prat is another.

Doesn't look good. Putting the faith in Chucker, Phillip and Flinstein. You know these Aussie bats can bang it or work it, 12 an over really shouldn't be too much trouble should we bowl anything but 'top banana'.
