Clarke was the gormless kid batting at 5 or 6 who was left to clean up the mess made by the Martyns and Haydens and Katiches and co. If he was bad, most of those others were absolutely bloody awful.

Perhaps I was harsh on Clarke. Perhaps, with Hayden and Katich involved, there'll be a symphony of faeces. A bit like this:

Yes I have broadband. Boggygreen's got server probs.

And no LLL, if you think I'm going to even touch the barge-pole in relation to your last post you're as crazy as Buckeroo.

Awesome Ronnie appears to have come of age as a test batsman. He did excellently under pressure against Sri Lanka as well.

Nothing to lose - apart from the series of course! Rolling Eyes

Still, I'd like to see them give it a good go.

He was pretty crap against India, also not too good against SL either, considering their bowling line-up wasn't at it's best.

Considering the talent he has, it's about time. The best thing you can say about Sarwan is he's not Samuels.

He's only 27 and he's played 71 tests. He'll have to do a lot to end up with an average worthy of his talent by the end of his career, assuming he has reached a turning point.

WI should try to have a bit of a dart with these 2 at the wicket, but I fear they'll shut up shop.

They're missing out on a great opportunity - it may be too late to mount a serious charge now, but isn't it better to try than to die wondering?

Are you two serious? They'd only lose if they had a dart.

178 off 26 now.
