England v NZ, 3rd Test, Trent Bridge, 5th-9th June
Thought I'd start this off...
In a way there's not much to talk about. I think all of the players will undeservedly keep their places for the nth time.
The only change I think they're discussing is Broad for Tremlett.
I personally wouldn't advocate it though. Tremlett can be innocuous too and his woeful fitness record should discount him from too many England call-ups.
The rest - KP needs some runs really - though as I've mentioned before, if he gets some 'bird' it fires him up a great deal more, Aus have done it, India last year, Pakistan, SL... he seems to relish it, I'm sure people have been told not to get in his ear... I'm not sure SA will heed the warning though, they gave him loads in that ODI series and seem to take KP quite personally.
Bell and Colly are in dire need. Bell's been as abject as Collingwood so far, it's just his FTB ton that has kept the vultures away.
Cook has looked in decent touch, regardless of the results - ditto MPV.
Not sure what I think of Ambrose's batting any more, looked nuggety and punchy. Now just looks like GO Jones c. 2006.

Am I?
He's scored 49 runs for 5 out since his ton. He hasn't looked like getting many either
Re: England v NZ, 3rd Test, Trent Bridge, 5th-9th June
Same as same as for the next test.
Should be last chance saloon for Colly, Bell and hopefully Anderson (unfortunately stats are on his side, and we all know how important they are).
Ambrose should get the whole of the SA series IMO.
Would like to see KP go give it a bash like he sort of did in the 4th innings @ OT.

Nope. England have swapped a mediocre keeper/good batsmen for an OK keeper/rubbish batsmen.
Should have stuck with Irongloves.

Aus have literally 73,832 better keepers than the English - all of which are excellent batsmen/excellent keepers. Ahh, great.

Indeed . . . just give the job to the best gloveman and let the top 6 worry about the runs . . .

Well once again, if you say so.
I suppose the point is proven by the fact your current No.1 is an Aussie......

95% sure. He admitted it even, I thought he was being facetious at first but then it became pretty apparent, IME.
