Top signing. They'll be a force next season if they get someone like Villa or Eto'o (nooo!).

It'll be interesting to see how he goes. He's never managed a European club side before. Or even a club side outside of Brazil.

Expect half of the team to be full of Brazilians then...

It almost goes without saying that they'll be a force. They had a pub manager for most of last season and were a force. Scolari's a to$$er though and an over-rated one at that, in my opinion. He won the World Cup with one of the best teams ever and a load of trophies in Brazil, wow. That's off-set by his dreadful bottling against Greece in the Euro '04 final. Loser.

They should have looked closer to home...

Seriously though, this could be Big Phil's first false move in a while. If he doesn't scoop up four or five trophies in his first season, his ass will be back on Copacabana as soon as you can say "Shoulda been there in place of Steve Mac"

Five trophies would be impressive as they'll only be competing for four!
