Why not - every other bugger with gloves is getting a go.
Mebbe early days yet ... but he is a tough little bugger, decent hands and can clout
the ball hard .... today he showed patience under pressure and batted a long time for his 141*.
Who knows ... he might just have the makings.
His average of 26 is scary.

Aye I will - looking grim even now as the clouds gather.
Shame - let's hope it doesn't ruin the run fest.

He was only capped last year (though kicked off in '03)!PearlJ wrote:

And with Nashy first choice keeper, hasn't really had a decent trot.
M 49 Ings 73 NO* 15 Runs 1545 HS 112 Avg 26.63 Tons 2 fifty's 8 S/R49.07 ct127 st17
Another 140 runs today bumps the avge up a tad.
Respectable stats.

Well, we're f*cked. Pipey and Clare need big scores for us to stand a chance.
Any chance of some rain?

You're being muntered by Ryan Ten Doeschate. It doesn't come much worse than that tbh...

Aye. Never really had a decent run, because whenever the Bald one was fit he played in the Championship. Hard to dislodge a keeper averaging 50 year on year.
Has been given a chance due to some interesting situations and has grasped it with both hands. Is also a very good bloke to boot!
His keeping in the OD stuff is pretty much spot on, as good as there is really.

All over in chavland. The chavs win with their chavvy cricket. The difference was the chavs' chavvy 130 run lead in the chavs' first innings. Chavvy chav Ten Do-Chav wins it for the chavs with bat and ball.
Congratulations chavs. But at the end of the day...you're still chavs.

Huzzah!
Mate - we're wideboys not chavs. I've been to Derby and Direby people should be the last to talk about chavs FFS

Northants getting rinsed like shitbags. 33-3.
Not a lot will save us now.

Not at all. Nashy's still by far the best championship keeper/batsman at Middx. This is Scotty's 3rd ever chamionship 100 in 49 matches. Nashy got that last year alone I think.
In fact If he doesn't sign a new contract for next year there would be countis crawling over each other for his signature I would summise!
Internal politics in cricket who'da thunk it, causing problems.
Although as an ODI keeper goes, Scotty's one of the best!

Yeah? At the minute we're folding quicker than an anorexic pygmy getting kicked in the nards by a brickshithouse American Wrestler.

At the time of writing there're less than 40 points between top and bottom after 7 games. There're less than 20 points between team number 2 and 7. I'd hardly call any of them world-beaters or ginch-fish.

Less than 40 points between what? Between what? Huh? Huh?
