Re: Aus v Pak, T20 WC, Johannesburg, 18th Sept
Seems like ages since Aus and Pak played each other in any form of cricket. Have they played against each other since 2005 when Pakistan toured Aus?

Ash wrote:hopefully pakistan bat first, clark and bracken destroy the top order before afridi comes in at 7 and breaks his fastest 100 record with able support from newboy fawad alam. brett lee finished with 4-0-80-0 as pakistan rack up 195-8.
in reply hayden and gilchrist get australia off to a flier before the new spin twins - afridi/alam - bring pakistan right back into it with 4 wkts a piece. ponting goes for a first ball duck.
the game ends in a tie and pakistan lose the bowl out. pak forummers on pakpassion drive themselves into a frenzy (http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/showthread.php?t=45933) trying to convince themselves it wasn't a loss.
would make my day.
Ah, but we're not here to make your day. And we can all link to other forums, for intance to Indian cricket forums but who has the time?

Has an 'interesting' hairstyle as well...
Pakistan win the toss, and surprise surprise, will bowl first.

Channel 9 are up to their old tricks.
They start their coverage from the first ball of the match claiming that it is 'live'.
So I'm assuming the first 45 minutes of the match I watched on Fox were just a figment of my imagination.

Pakistan are rubbish at chasing, they'll definitely lose this - Aus already upto 159 for 5 in 18.5. Drat!

Pakistan 69/4 (9.1/20 ov) - require another 102 runs with 6 wickets and 11.0 overs remaining.
Will be very hard, can't see it being done.
