Could possibly say Pak are in the driving seat at this point. They're above par with the RRR, got 6 wickets left(including boomboom) and only need 40 odd.
Re: Aus v Pak, T20 WC, Johannesburg, 18th Sept
7 an over for 6 overs with 6 wickets should be a piece of piss. Nice little partnership this one.

Aye, didn't really know what to make of Misbah from his first showing, but he looks the biz.

Partnership beats 83 for the 5th wicket by Ponting & Katich in the first ever T20 international against NZ in February 2005.

I've just looked at the scorecard.
HTF did Australia only score 9 runs off the last 14 balls?

I think they've realised it would be hard to throw the match when you only need 6 runs of 12 balls with 6 wickets left.

Blee bowls a no ball....free hit...and overthrows on the no ball. Just as Oz were forcing the RRR up from 1/ball.
Free hit missed. Still Carp from Oz though

And just when the pressure is building up we get this:
16.6 Lee to Shoaib Malik, (no ball) 2 runs, Lee over-steps and bowls a full toss which Malik hits towards mid-on, Clarke dives to his left and fields superbly but concedes an overthrow, free hit coming up

Thinking about Oz losing is about as shocking as England winning.

Huge 6 from Misbah all but takes Pak home. 111metres.
And Brummy boy bowls a bouncer at scores level and pak win on the wide.
Smart.

All over.
What a partnership. Not a single chance I don't think.

I suspect many will be saying that they have never heard of Snape, Schofield, Wright...but they may not be repeating the second part of your statement.Batfink Begins wrote:Misbah and Tanvir. Never heard of them. Look damn good overall.

Well played Pakistan. Misbah justifying his inclusion over Yousuf. Well actually they should have picked Misbah AND Yousuf and left out that kamakaze joker Nazir.
