Article on all the players to get to 100 hundreds.

Would I be right in summising from that, that the Don is the only cricketer who did not feast on the glut of FC cricket that was (and to a lesser extent still is) the County Championship in this country at some point?
Would seem appropriate if so.

A comfortable win for Yorkshire - our 303/4 was well out of reach for Leics who could only muster 302/7!
Re: English county season 2008 (V)
I see Tom Smith hit a half in that.

Needs to kick on a bit to prevent him from becoming a bit of a trundler.
Thought he might develop into a bit of a Brian McMillan style of bowler when he first started

Part of Peter Krause's disguise is obviously to flick his hair the opposite way when he dons the whites.

Never heard of him until the T20 finals.
Probably never hear of him again after this season.

Bit of a nipper in the under 19s Test.
England need 27 to win with three wickets remaining.
Daniel Redfern carries the hopes of upwards of three spectators.

I've just turned the telly on, and that erm...what's his name?...erm...OWAIS SHAH fella looks pretty good on a nippy pitch. I wonder why he isn't in consideration for England? I suppose he's not actually English or something like that? Anyone enlighten me?

96* for Shah, carrying Middlesex to 203/9. Could be a defendable score.
Quality player.

Yes, but what on earth was he doing with that last ball? All that hard work, all those great shots and as he was walking off the field I was thinking, 'What a kn0b'.

Re: English county season 2008 (V)
Shah would have been my choice for the Oval, but I can see the logic in the England selectors choosing Bopara on the grounds of form and youth.
And fark me, its not often that 'England selectors' and 'logic' appear in the same sentence!
